My name is Victoria Clarizio and I am a Catholic writer, teacher, and speaker. I blog about prayer, scripture, Ignatian meditation, and Jesus the Bridegroom. Especially Jesus the Bridegroom. I’m obsessed; you’ve been warned. I love sharing nerdy trivia about scripture that has helped me understand the Jewish culture and therefore, Jesus better. I encountered Christ in a deeper way through praying with scripture during my time discerning with a religious community and hope to help others do the same. I am currently pursuing my MFA in Creative Writing at Fairfield University and am working on a memoir about my spiritual journey. When I’m not writing, I am hanging out with my rambunctious high schoolers at the homeschooling co-op where I teach or growing in community with my Crossroads for Christ young adult group. I live in Connecticut and am so excited to see where God calls me next.
I give talks on my testimony, Saints (especially Saint Therese!), Ignatian prayer and a variety of other topics. I’ve spoken at young adult retreats, youth groups and parishes. I would love to come speak at your group!
